Friday Wrap-up
I've decided to post a Friday wrap-up on some of the short messages in my previous posts. This would just be another twitter posting site otherwise.
Ladies!
I hear the ladies at my work talking about how gross the women's bathroom is and how they will not sit on the seat. Well, then you are the reason the bathroom is gross. I was one of these people a long, long time ago, but as my post earlier in the week said, I flipped a switch on my brain and came to some conclusions. The biggest one is that I don't use my butt for anything other than sitting. I don't eat, drink, wipe my eyes with my butt. I do nothing with my butt that may endanger my health. So if it's a little dirty because someone else sat on a seat? Who cares!
Also, not wanting to sit on the seat says exactly what I think of my female co-workers. It says I think they are disgusting and have some sort of sexually transmittable disease, which is very unlikely. And if they did? I still couldn't catch it through the skin of my ass. Well, unless I had an open sore there, but then that would make ME the disgusting one, not them.
Miss California
Gays should allowed to be married in my opinion. In a country that prides itself on its freedom of expression, marriage would be the ultimate expression and so should be allowed to anyone.
That being said, Miss California (Prejean) has every right to say that she opposes gay marriage. Freedom of speech does not mean that you are only able to make politically correct statements, but that you are able to make ones that are not so politically correct as well. If you bash someone for saying they don't believe in gay marriage, then you are just as bad as you are trying to say they are. You want to shut them up. This would be like if homosexuals ran China or 80's Russia and it is no more right or valid than what she said.
When you do the type of crap that the Miss California pageant did this week you go completely against the constitution. You make other people afraid to say what they really think or feel. You also make it more difficult for the rest of us to pick out the stupid, insane, and sociopaths.
Palm Pre
So far I'm loving it. The ability to text while listening to music and doing multiple tasks is so far closer to what I would expect from a multimedia phone. I'm not yet having any severe problems with the display or anything else.
